Congress Venue

Marina Bay Sands  Hotel (Convention Centre, Level 4, Melati Main Ballroom) is the Headquarters of the VIII World Asthma, Allergy & COPD Forum.

The registration desk will open in the Convention Centre (LEVEL 4) of the Marina Bay Sands  Hotel.

Name Badges

All Congress participants, official guests, accompanying persons are kindly requested to wear their name badges for the participation in all scientific sessions and social events of the Congress.

Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony of the VIII World Asthma, Allergy & COPD Forum will be held in the Melati Main Ballroom, Convention Centre (Level 4), Marina Bay Sands  Hotel on April 27, at 10.00 a.m. Admission by name badges.

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations last up to 20 min in plenary sessions and symposia. Keynote and memorial lectures last up to 30 min including question.

PPT Presentations and Slides

Power Point Presentations (on CD or flash) should be handed to the representative of the Congress Secretariat in advance but not later than 15 min prior to the start of the session.

Poster Presentations

All posters should be displayed in the Melati Main Ballroom Foyer, Convention Centre (Level 4), Marina Bay Sands  Hotel according to the Congress Program on April 27 and 28. Presenters are requested to attend their poster site from 12.00 through 12.30 on April 27 and April 28. The poster size is 75×120 cm.

CME Credits

The VIII WORLD ASTHMA, ALLERGY & COPD FORUM—the Continuing Medical Education (CME) activity—will receive accreditation from EBAP (European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology).

European accreditation is granted by EACCME, EBAACI, and EBAP following the EACCME standards (D9908) in order to allow participants to validate the credits obtained at this activity in their home countries. Following evaluation, the VIII World Asthma & COPD Forum will be accredited by EBAP for 18 European CME credits covering the whole program.
